MAINELAND is a fully independent production. We rely on the support and generosity of individuals and organizations to make this project happen, maintain its independence, and to sustain the many expenses associated with the production and post-production of the film. We are an experienced team in independent film productions, and have successfully launched our projects into wide release. Our previous feature-length documentary BEIJING TAXI (http://beijingtaxithefilm.com/) has won numerous awards, screened at film festivals and independent film theaters world-wide, broadcast on PBS, and is widely distributed on DVD as well as digitally released on iTunes.
